Jim Bahan, BSc Hons, FIMMM Chief Executive Officer Jim is a mining engineer with an Honours degree from the University of Leeds, UK. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining and has over 35 years experience in the mining industry. Jim commenced his career on the Zambian Copperbelt where he rose to Divisional Manager of the Chingola Division, which operated the world class Nchanga underground/open pit copper mines. From 1983 to 1989, Jim served as the London based consulting engineer for BP Minerals International. He was deeply involved also in the discovery and development of an underground gold mine and the only sulphide nickel/cobalt orebody as yet discovered in Brazil. From 1989 to 1996, he served as Operations Director, then Managing Director, for the Gencor/Billiton Group (now BHPBilliton) in Brazil. The group had interests in world class alumina/aluminum facilities, as well as the Sao Bento gold mine and a number of exploration and joint venture companies, including the Piaba project. |

Marcel de Groot, BComm, CA Chairman Marcel de Groot is a founder and President of Pathway Capital Ltd., a Vancouver based private venture capital corporation. Pathway Capital Ltd, formed in 2004, invests in and provides strategic support to early stage private and public companies. Companies backed by Pathway Capital have raised over $800 million in equity and completed over $900 million in M&A transaction since 2004. He is currently a director of Underworld Resources Inc. and Keegan Resources Ltd. Mr. de Groot graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and articled with Grant Thornton LLP where he obtained the Chartered Accountant designation. |

Duane Lo Chief Financial Officer Mr. Lo, a Chartered Accountant, held the position of Controller at First Quantum Minerals Limited. First Quantum is actively involved in mineral exploration, development and mining in Africa and Europe, and in 2008 had revenues of US$1.7 billion. During his tenure at First Quantum, Mr. Lo assisted in the completion of two major acquisitions and saw three mines commence commercial production. During this time, First Quantum's market capitalization grew from approximately $800 million to approximately $5 billion. Prior to First Quantum, Mr. Lo worked with Deloitte & Touche, where he obtained his CA designation in the Company's Audit & Assurance practise. |

Luiz Celaro, BSc Eng, MBA Project Manager Mr. Celaro is a mining engineer with an MBA in Environmental Management and 30 years of engineering, construction, and mine management experience in Brazil. He was the start-up engineering manager of Rio Tinto's Morro do Ouro Project (now Kinross's Paracatu mine). Mr. Celaro was with CVRD for 9 years where he worked on several new mine developments in Brazil and abroad. After leaving CVRD, he was a director of Bechtel/Promon, an engineering consortium responsible for metallurgy and mining contracts in Brazil. Most recently, Mr. Celaro was the construction and pre-operation manager for Goldcorp's Amapari Mine in Amapa State, Brazil. |

Titus Haggan, PhD PGeo Exploration Manager Dr. Haggan is a graduate in geology from NUIG in Ireland and was awarded a PhD in mineral deposit geology from the University of Aberdeen, UK for his work on ore deposits in the Andes of Peru, Chile and Argentina. He has over 10 years of experience in the exploration sector in Central and South America and has worked on and evaluated exploration projects in Brazil, Peru, Dominican Republic, Bolivia, Argentina and Chile. Prior to joining Luna Gold he was Exploration Manager for London-based Horizonte Minerals plc where he was responsible for gold, base metal and diamond exploration. He set-up Luna's Brazil exploration team in 2007 and is the Company's QP for exploration as defined by NI 43-101. |

Thomas O'Neil, PhD (Mining Engineering) Director Dr. O'Neil brings to the Board of Luna Gold over 35 years of experience in mineral economics, and mine development, and operations. Dr. O'Neil retired as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. and President of the Cleveland-Cliffs Iron Company and Cliffs Mining Company. Prior to joining Cleveland-Cliffs, Dr. O'Neil spent 10 years with Cyprus Minerals Company, where he served in various capacities including Vice President, Engineering and Development. Previously, Dr. O'Neil was Professor and Head of the Department of Mining and Geological Engineering at the University of Arizona. He was elected to the National Academy of Engineers in 1999 and he was President of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME) in 2003. He has been a director and Chairman of the American Iron Ore Association and is currently a trustee of the National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum. Dr. O'Neill is also a director of Thompson Creek Metals Co. and Fording Canadian Coal Trust. Dr. O'Neil holds a B.S. degree in Mining Engineering from Lehigh University, a Master's degree from Pennsylvania State University and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Arizona. |

Bruce McLeod, P.Eng Director Bruce McLeod is a Mining Engineer with over 25 years experience in all areas of the exploration and mining industry. Mr. McLeod was a founder and Executive Chairman of Sherwood Copper Corp. which recently completed a business combination with Capstone Mining Corp. He is presently the President & CEO of Troon Ventures Ltd. and Tenajon Resources Corp. Mr. McLeod primarily focuses on project development, strategic planning and financing activities. Mr. McLeod is the Chair of the TSX Venture Exchange's Local Advisory Committee, and sits on the board of several publicly traded companies along with being a member of the TSXV National Advisory Committee, the Canadian Institute of Mining & Metallurgy, the Association for Mineral Exploration British Columbia, and the Association of Professional Engineers of B.C. and the Yukon. Mr. McLeod is also involved with several non profit groups including being a director of Science World. |

Luis Baertl Director Mr. Baertl is currently the President/CEO of La Ermita Ltda., a Chilean limited partnership involved in mining, agriculture and real estate. Luis brings extensive financial, business and technical expertise related to the mining industry both in Latin America and internationally, having worked and consulted for several mining and financial groups. Mr. Baertl was also a founder of Peru Copper which was bought out by Chinalco for $840 million. Mr. Baertl was previously Vice-President BHP Billiton, as well as previously a senior executive in mining finance for Citicorp Citibank and the Chase Manhattan Bank. |

Steven Krause Director Steven Krause is the president of a Langley based Chartered Accounting practice. Mr. Krause received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1997, and also holds a Certified Public Accountant designation in the U.S.A. Mr. Krause has worked extensively with mineral exploration and development stage companies on the TSX Venture Exchange, and is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Bear Creek Mining Corporation. Mr. Krause holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Trinity Western University. |

J. David Lowell Advisor Dr. Lowell, one of the world's most successful exploration geologists with a career of over 50 years, has been involved in the discovery of over 12 gold or copper deposits and participated in the development of seven large mines. Dr. Lowell received a BS degree in mining from the University of Arizona in 1949, and an MS in geology from Stanford University in 1957. He received also a Professional Engineer degree from the University of Arizona in 1959, and honorary doctorate degrees from the Universidad Nacional de San Marcos in Peru in 1998 and the University of Arizona in 2000. He has published more than 50 articles, one of which, co-authored with John Guilbert, defines the Lowell-Guilbert Porphyry Copper Model. This work has become a standard reference for exploration geologists worldwide. He was elected to the National Academy of Engineering in 1999, has received the SME Jackling and Robert Dreyer Awards, the AIME Earl McConnell Award, the SEG Silver Medal, and SEG Penrose Medal, and the MMSA Gold Medal. He was inducted into the American Mining Hall of Fame and was the Northern Miner's 1999 "Mining Man of the Year". Dr. Lowell is manager of Lowell Mineral Exploration, LLC, a private mineral exploration company that he founded in 1961. He was a co-founder of Arequipa Resources Ltd., which was acquired by Barrick Gold Corp. and co-founder of Peru Copper Inc. that was acquired by Aluminum Corporation of China (Chinalco). He managed contract exploration projects that discovered seven large copper deposits including Kalamazoo, Escondida and Zaldivar. He is currently President and CEO of CIC Resources Inc., a private company, with offices in Vancouver, Arizona and Peru. He will receive the Haddon King Award of the Australian Academy of Science in February, 2010. |

Geoff Loudon Advisor Mr. Geoff Loudon has over 40 years experience as a mining professional. Mr. Loudon's early career was as a geologist with Placer Dome in porphyry copper and molybdenum mines in Canada and the Philippines. He is credited with discovering the San Antonio porphyry copper deposit in the Philippines. He also worked on early gold projects that led to the Porgera and Misima mines in Papua New Guinea. Following a change of career, Mr. Loudon spent 10 years in mining finance with the Kleinwort Benson group. Mr. Loudon then turned his focus back to mineral exploration and development and became the founder, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Niugini Mining Ltd., an explorer and developer of gold and copper mines in Australia, Papua New Guinea and Chile. Niugini Mining Ltd. was responsible for the discovery of the Lihir gold deposit in Papua New Guinea. Mr. Loudon is currently a director of Lihir Gold Limited, which is listed on the TSX, NASDAQ and the Australian Stock Exchanges. Mr. Loudon is Chairman of L&M Mining, a New Zealand focused energy company listed on the Australian and New Zealand stock exchanges, and Chairman of Nautilus Minerals Inc. listed on TSX and AIM. |

Darren Bahrey Advisor Darren has worked over 17 years in the exploration business with junior and major mining companies. Prior to co-founding Oro Gold, he spent 14 years playing key roles within Placer Dome, with a main focus in Latin America, identifying and advancing properties and discovering ounces. He has a wide breadth of experience, having been involved in generative through to feasibility level, negotiations, acquisitions, management, mine and corporate valuation, and strategic planning. His last position with Placer Dome was Exploration Manager for the Central America-Mexico-Caribbean Basin region. A few notable properties he played an integral part in advancing include Zaldivar Chile, Las Cristinas Venezuela (+8 million oz), Cerro Crucitas Costa Rica (+2 million oz), Getchell Nevada, and Pueblo Viejo Dominican Republic. Michael Williams Advisor Mr. Williams is currently the President and CEO of Full Metal Minerals and a Director and Advisor to several mining exploration companies. He is a co-founder of Full Metal Minerals, a Toronto Stock Exchange Venture ( TSX:V-FMM) listed company that completed an Initial Public Offering in May 2004. He is responsible for the company's corporate development, marketing and financing. Mr. Williams has significant contacts with both retail and institutional investors and has an extensive investment banking network. He was previously Vice President of Atna Resources Ltd., a Toronto Stock Exchange listed company, where he developed and implemented all of the company's communication and investor relations programs from 1996 through to 2004. Prior to joining Atna Resources, Mr. Williams provided public relations counsel to various sectors including: mining, manufacturing, financial services, hospitality, tourism, and government. |
